What is a good college for astrophysics and astronomy?

i am interested in the fields of astrophysics and astronomy and i would like to start a career in those fields. What is a good college that supports these two fields well?|||In the United States, you might want to consider these schools for your post-graduate degree:

Caltech

Cornell University

MIT

The University of Arizona|||For undergraduate work you can go almost anywhere, as long as you get a solid grounding in mathematics and physics.|||This websites is not the list of the good colleges, but some collges with astronomy and astrophysics(I don't know if they're good) http://space.about.com/library/weekly/bl鈥?/a>|||For undergrad there are many options. If I was choosing right now I'd pick Northern Arizona University for undergrad.

If you give us a geographically prefered location I can give you more specific options...|||You dont really study those things as a undergraduate. You study math and physics, and other related sciences, which you need to be able to undertake the study of astrophysics and astronomy. So pick schools based on that.

And make sure that those schools have big names that will lend weight to your application when you apply to the few schools that actually offer advanced degrees in the field you eventually want to get into.
