i am interested in getting into astrophysics and was wondering how to start and what the job market was like what i should be doing (besides a ton of mathamatics of course)|||Look here to find the job prospects for most all occupations in the USA.

You generally need a PhD.|||you can become a astrologist, rocket scientist, physicist, astronaut, janitor for NASA, or a stripper. you need to get a degree in astrophysics
