What's a good book for the basics of astrophysics for a beginner?!?!?

I found an interest in astrophysics but i can't find any good beginners information on the web.

Anyone have a recommendation for a good book for beginners??|||i share a similar interest, and i found the perfect book

its a giant book but extremely informative on everything you want to know about astrophysics its called "Cosmos a Field Guide"

great pictures too|||Professor emeritus Donald Osterbrock updates classic astrophysics book

By Tim Stephens|||Introductory Astronomy and Astrophysics

by Elske V.P. Smith, Kenneth C. Jacobs

I liked this book. The hardcover retails for over $200. It wasn't nearly that expensive when I was in school. You can get a "like new" used copy for under $10, though.
